SUMMARY:November Evening Club Meeting - ShelterBox
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the evening to learn about Shelterbox. \nMembers of Faringdon & District Rotary invite you to join us to learn about Rotary International’s project partner in disaster relief. \nShelterBox began in 2000\, in a Rotary club in Cornwall. In 2022 ShelterBox provided shelter to over 400\,000 people in 11 countries including Ukraine\, Philippines\, Cameroon and Pakistan. \nEveryone is welcome\, including accompanied children. This is not a fundraising evening\, it’s simply a great opportunity to learn about the amazing ShelterBox organisation. \nGreg Wilkinson is the representative for ShelterBox for our Rotary District. He will tell us about the history and current activities\, and how Rotary clubs across the globe help with ShelterBox logistics when responding to disasters. \nPlease let us know if you would like to join us for the evening.
