The majority of the course is on tracks around the estate, there is some tarmac and a short section across short even grass, but the majority is on gravel tracks. There is some change in elevation, as you leave Buscot house running out into the estate there is a 50mtr Dip over about 0.5k, the route then drops away around 150mtrs, over 1k, then flat for about 3k, then it climbs back to the top of the Dip.
This circuit is used once for the 5k, and looped twice for the 10k.
