This year’s Faringdon Fireworks proved to be an extraordinary success, drawing an impressive crowd of over 1,000. Blessed with perfect weather conditions – no wind and relatively warm temperatures – visitors enjoyed an evening of awe-inspiring entertainment.

The event was organised by the Rotary Club of Faringdon in collaboration with Faringdon Rugby Club and generously sponsored by Perry Bishop Estate Agents. A huge thank you once again to Faringdon House Estate for allowing us to use their land. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the magnificent firework display, which seemed to stretch on endlessly, captivating onlookers with a dazzling array of colours and patterns that lit up the night sky.
Beyond the fireworks, the event offered a variety of attractions that kept the crowd entertained. Children and families delighted in the classic swing boats and activities provided by Rotakinds. The scent of freshly grilled burgers and hot dogs tempted many, while the bar offered a selection of drinks for those looking to unwind. To round out the evening, attendees were treated to live music from the popular band Dirty Deeds, whose performance added to the vibrant atmosphere.

The event was made possible by the many dedicated volunteers who gave their time to plan, organise, and marshal the festivities. Their efforts ensured that everything ran smoothly and safely, contributing significantly to the evening’s success. A huge thank you to you all.
This was a charity event and a heartfelt thank you also goes out to all who attended and supported the event. Thanks to your generosity, thousands of pounds were raised for local charities, making this community gathering not only a night of enjoyment but also one that will have a lasting positive impact on Faringdon.
With such resounding success this year, anticipation is already building for the next Faringdon Fireworks event.
