Thank you to the Town Council for organising another Big Green Day on 15th June. Our club members were there with the Rotakids and we enjoyed speaking with visitors and other stall holders.
The Rotakids have been focussing on bees over the last few months and we were able to quiz lots of people on bee facts. There were bee and sunflower crafts for younger visitors – although as someone pointed out, we are never too old for crafting. We also asked the people of Faringdon “what’s most important to you?” when it comes to the environment. A very scientific study with pint glasses and screwed up post-it notes!
