Fireworks raised money for charity

Remember remember the 5th of November…..
A record crowd watched the fireworks at Faringdon House in the traditional 5th November display. A big thank you goes to all the club members and volunteers who spent many hours planning and getting everything ready so that the event went smoothly to everyone’s delight. Live Music by Young Rosie entertained the crowds before and after the fireworks.
The event is a fundraiser for local and international charitable causes and White Horse Rotary Faringdon would like to thank all who purchased tickets or made direct financial donations. “Despite the cost of living crisis, the generosity of people is tremendous.” said Laura Bond, Co-president of White Horse Rotary Club, “We will be able to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves with the proceeds from the fireworks event.”
