Rotary Club Faringdon and District has been working at the Root & Branch charity, Watchfield, a Charity that provides activities to those with learning difficulties.The project came in as a request to excavate 20mtrs of existing gravel patch (laid some 10-15 years ago and now full of soil and weeds, laydown a weed control mat and fill the excavated area with ornamental Cotswold gravel. To enable those with walking issues, a 3 x 3 slab crossing point was laid. A further 30 slabs were then used to create a path in front of their new activities Log cabin. We are now around 90% complete we will be removing around 6ton of spoil on Friday, laying the final 10 slabs and we the remaining gravel.Please feel free to use any of the photos
