At the moment we are meeting on ZOOM which has been a challenge but our RotaKids are always up for a challenge.
During the past year we have been busy with various tasks and events and have been visited by people telling us about their charity and teaching us about things.
We raised money for End Polio Campaign by selling crocuses in pots
We made guys to go on the Rotary bonfire for Firework night
We made poppies to wear on Remembrance Day and laid a wreath at our War Memorial
We raised funds to buy our local Residential Home a Therapy Cat
We raised enough funds by selling toys and books to have a Classroom named after us in Zambia
We visited our local Fire Station and learnt how brave our Firepersons are, we even got to use the hoses!
We learnt basic First Aid techniques
We raised money for Children in Need by raffling Pudsey Bear
And in doing all of this we helped lots of folks and we had such FUN doing it all.
If you know someone between the ages of 7-11yrs who would be interested in joining us please contact our RotaKids Leader, Amy Carter, email: amy.rotakidsfaringdon@gmail.com
