Call for Funding Applications for Dragons’ Den 2026

We are delighted to launch our call for applications for funding from our club’s Dragons’ Den event this year. Following on from many previous successful events we look forward to seeing applications from a range of community groups, charities and schools that support people in and near to Faringdon.

Groups that have previously received funding from this event are eligible to apply but in the event of high demand, groups that have not received funding in recent years may be prioritised.

Over the last three years we have given grants in excess of £33,000. In 2025, fourteen groups were awarded grants, supporting all ages from pre-school to the elderly, and a mix of sporting activities, schools, days out, social gatherings and outdoor spaces.

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Sunday 24th May 2026.

Successful applicants will be notified by Friday 29th May 2026 and will be invited to make a short presentation to a panel of Dragons on the evening of Thursday 4th June 2026 at the Faringdon Corn Exchange.

All attendees will be invited to attend for the full evening, to hear presentations from other groups and to chat with members of the Rotary club and the other groups. Many participants have said in the past how they enjoy hearing from other groups and learning about the range of activities in the community.

The panel members will decide on the level of financial support to be offered to each group.
